This was made using the Happily Ever After Stamp by Sugar Nellie, it is just lovely.
This card was made using Happily Ever After Sugar Nellie Stamp
I used a 15 cm square card blank and layered onto it a 14cm square of On Your Wedding Day Vellum.
I stamped the Image using Black Impress Inkpad onto Silver Pearlescent Card, Snow White Pearlescent Card,Black Card and White 300gsm Smooth card and white Vellum.
On the white card colour I coloured the skin areas in with Ivory Promarker, and the flowers in with lilac. His shoes I coloured in with a silver pen.
Then cut out the hat and trousers from the black card, the jacket from the silver pearl card, the dress and veil from the Snow White Pearl card and then the veil again from the Vellum.
Stick all the pieces together on the white stamped layer to give you a complete image.
Cut out a frame using black and white patterned card using Marianne Creatables Circle Die and then cut out a large scalloped circle from White card using a punch or a spellbinders Nestabilitie. Edge the the circle with silver inkpad.
On the black and white patterned card cut out the centre design from the Nellies Round set of cutting dies, cut it into quarters and then stick in the corners of the card, stick on flat the large black frame, then the white circle and then using foam pads or glue gel, stick the bride and groom in the centre.
This is my first attempt at using alcohol inks and it hasnt turned out to bad. The card is already glittered around the edge, I masked off the glittery edge with a sheet of paper and stamped the group of trees from the Darkroom Door Yuletide 1 stamp set using black Versafine ink. The Large tree is stamped in green Versafine onto white card and cut out and ribbon tied round and knotted.
The red and green background is made with Lettuce and Cardinal red alcohol ink wiped onto gloss card in a wave motion with a bit of felt. I then stamped the trees in Black Stazon. and embossed the shape of the background on my Mandala Reflections Board. I edged the panel with a Sakura gold Pen Touch metallic pen stamped the message and star on the card and then layered everything up on foam pads. Lastly I added a green crystal to the centre of the star.
I then went on to make a christmas version which i filled the shaker with Polar White Flower Soft which I really like, unfortunatley I stuck it the wrong way round on the card blank and it opened the the opposite way round!!
Well I fianally got to have a play with my new stamps while I am off work this week. I just love the father christmas image on this stamp set, he looks so realistic.
The swirl on the side of the card was made with my new Slice machine ( which I got for my birthday on Tuesday!) and the piece I cut out I coloured in with Sakura Superpoints and added the dotty effect with the colour remover pen and stuck it on the inside of the card right behind the aperture. The dotty green paper is by Bo Bunny
I stamped the Santa image onto cream card and coloured the holly on his hat with superpoints and added a touch of glitterey blue with a stardust pen.
I layered him onto gold and red which I embossed on the new Mandala Reflections Embossing Board by Eazi. I also made the red border on the board also.I stamped the baubles and the Pine leaves by colouring the stamps with the superpoints and stamping with them and then stamped the message with Versafine Black inkpad.
Hi everyone, I hope you like this weeks card for the creative card crew challenge.
It is a bit more simple than I normally make but I was a bit pushed for time.
I used a 14.8cm square white card, cut out 8 pink glitter 4.5cm squares and layered white 4cm squares onto them onto which I stuck the glittery kitten stickers. I cut the number 10 out with the George cartridge on my Cricut Machine.
Apologies if any of the squares are a bit off centre but I stuck them to the pink glitter card with glue gel and it wasn’t dry when I scanned it and I think a couple of them moved!!
