KNITTING CLASSES (classes will be a maximum of 5 people)
I have decided to hold the knitting classes that I will be teaching in the evenings as it is easier for me. Any classes that will be taught by other teachers will be held in the afternoons. If there is enough demand I will repeat these classes .
Double Sided Knitting Class £9pp
Tuesday 12th November 6.30pm – 9pm
We will be knitting a swatch square which will be white background with a red heart on one side and Red background with a white heart on the other side. We will be knitting in a chunky yarn and on 7mm knitting needles. Please bring the 7mm knitting needles with you, I will provide the wool, so that we are all knitting in the same colour. You must be able to knit and pearl to do this technique (not for beginners). (The one in the pictures is made in double knitting yarn, you will be using chunky yarn for ease while you are learning.)

Entrelac Technique £9pp
We will be knitting a swatch in Entrelac Technique (looks like a basket weave) using chunky yarn on 7mm Knitting Needles. The wool will be provided but please bring 7mm knitting needles. (yours will be in a plain colour on the day to make it easier)

- ENTRELAC TECHNIQUE
Beginners knitting Class Part 1 £10pp (you can book part 1 and 2 together for (£18)
If you have never knitted before then this is the class for you. We will learn to cast on, and to do a basic knit stitch, and to cast off. We will be using a chunky yarn for a quick knit along with 7mm knitting needles. These will both be provided for you.
Tuesday 26th November 6.30pm – 9pm
Beginners Knitting Class Part 2 £10pp
In this class we will move on to Pearl stitch and then putting it together with knit stitch to create a simple pattern. Please bring your 7mm knitting Needles with you to this class.

Let it Snow Christmas Trio
This week we will be hopefully making 3 simple christmas cards using a set of Woodware clear stamps, embossing, inks and a bit of Zentangle. If you have them could you please bring a black fine liner pen, Promarkers in Cinnamon and Henna and Adirondack inkpads in Stonewashed blue and Meadow Green.
Also I will only be running the Tuesday evening class if there are a minium of 3 people booked on the class.

Tuesday 29th October 2pm -4.30pm, will be a knitting finishing class with Barbara Childs where you will learn 3 needle cast off, neat buttonholes, wrap and turn etc. Please bring 3 knitting needles the same size and a small amount of yarn (4mm needles and dk yarn for example)£10pp

Woodware Christmas Wreath Cards

After numerous problems with my computer this week I have finally managed to upload the pictures for this weeks class.
We will be making two relativley quick christmas cards using Marianne Dies. The holly wreath die is from last christmas, so if you have that you could bring it with you if possible. The other three dies are available in our shop and could be used for any time of year not just for christmas.
